Since our founding in 1985, Waiters  Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to promote healing, relieve pain, and restore balance to the body's energy flow, known as Qi (pronounced "chee"). 

 

  • During an acupuncture session, a inserts thin, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points along the body's meridians. The selection of points depends on the individual's symptoms, health condition, and diagnosis.
  • The needles are typically inserted to varying depths, depending on the location and condition being treated. They may be gently twirled or stimulated to enhance the therapeutic effect.
